Debunking the Gendered Arguments of Far-Right Extremism
Post-doc à l’Université de Glasgow (33.75h par semaine, 30 mois). Date limite de candidature : 6 décembre 2024.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to join our School of Social and Political Sciences to work on the Horizon Europe-funded (RIA Research and Innovation Action) You-DARE (Debunking the Gendered Arguments of Far-Right Extremism) project (as part of the UK-based team). This role offers an outstanding opportunity to contribute to a major project exploring the gender discourses and practices of far-right youth groups and leaders, and their normalisation in the mainstream, across 8 European countries.
You will be a key part of a broader project team involving 5 Universities, playing a pivotal role in data collection, analysis and the production of research and knowledge exchange outputs. Together we will work to understand how far-right youth ideas inform public/political debates and impact on democracy, and to generate tools and policy recommendations minimising the appeal of such ideas. In particular, you will collect and analyse data on two of the 8 case studies: France and Italy. The main working language will be English but the postdoctoral researcher will collect/analyse data in French and in Italian.
