Sexual violence in armed conflict

Publié le 21 mars par Héloïse Humbert

While sexual violence has gained public awareness since the mid-1970s and become today a subject in academic debate, national and international politics, efforts to understand this form of violence remain inadequate. How is sexual violence tied to other forms of violence ? Who are the perpetrators ? What are the consequences for individual victims and societies ? How to prevent sexual violence ? And what are the pressing questions today ?
