AFFDU
Founded after the Great War by female academics, who were convinced that girls’ education was both a factor of peace and key to women’s empowerment, the AFFDU (French Association of Graduate Women) brings together female graduates from different areas of higher education (universities, grandes écoles, engineering schools) who have obtained at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
As part of different national and international networks, the AFFDU is involved in work focusing on girl’s education, life-long education and the promotion of educated women.
