This year’s announcement for the Caroline von Humboldt Prize of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

The award recognises an excellent female scientist and offers funding for a research project. The Caroline von Humboldt Prize also includes the opportunity to visit the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin for a two-month period (Scientist in Residence). It is the first research prize awarded by the university exclusively to female scientists and it is one of the highest awards of its kind in Germany (15.000 EURO).

The Caroline von Humboldt award is designed to offer sustainable support to exceptional female scientists active in any field of research within any given country. Eligible are female scientists who graduated within the last seven years and who do not yet hold tenured professorships. All nominations are to be received - in electronic format and in English or German - no later than July 21, 2017.
